How We Got Here

Robert Hayes spent years around the military community near Fort Bragg, watching families take orders and scramble to move across the country on short notice — juggling report dates, weight allowances, and housing gaps while trying to keep life normal for their kids. He saw what good crews did differently, what bad ones got away with, and how much stress a single missed estimate piled on an already hard week.

When he started Military Movers, the plan was straightforward. Build a crew of trained, vetted movers who understand PCS timelines. Buy the right trucks, pads, and dollies. Quote the real price upfront. Show up on the report-date schedule. Treat every household like it belonged to a service member — because most of the time, it does.

Since then we have moved service members and their families to and from bases across the country — local moves, cross-country PCS, PPM/DITY support, and OCONUS-bound relocations. The crews running the trucks today are the ones who started on them, and the promise has not changed: handle the move so you can focus on the mission.
